About Me

This is a small software craftmanship business; not a corporate team

My business is born of decades working in I.T. and specifically in developing software for large and small.

I have developed server applications for UK defence contracts, leading websites with millions of users, real time data systems for international television and logistical software for the container shipping industry and even automated mundane Excel spreadsheet updates.

I have managed development teams (40 plus developers) and on teams of 2 or 3. Pragmatism is key to me and creating environments where developers can thrive is what I enjoy.

Recruiting for a developer, I have done that bringing new and former developers into teams. Training the juniors and coaching those with more years in position than me too.

Unlike that group of people to the left, when you work with me you deal with a person not a corporation of suits.
In recent years I have been doing a lot of work in the sports technology area. Recently (2019) I have helped deliver international sporting events (data systems, TV production) as well as development projects such as a fantasy sports site and alexa skill

Why Choose Me

I work in software development as it is my passion, I have left corporate development to build software for a selection of clients who I enjoy working with and where I am able to assist them. I only work with clients with whom their requirements and my abilities match. By choosing to work with me, you get to work with someone who aims to be a trusted advisor and collaborator.

If there are things waiting to go wrong I will warn you.

What I Get

I get to follow my passion for software development and the craft of building software. I get to work for myself with interesting clients and be part of building businesses software solutions that will be used by you and your staff everyday and will be used for years to come.
